Bomba de Insulina MiniMed 780G (MMT-1884, MMT-1885, MMT-1886, MMT-1894, MMT-1895, MMT-1896)

¿Qué pasó?

Todos los bombas de infusión Medtronic MiniMed (serie Paradigm, serie 600 y serie BLE 700) se encontraron afectadas por la entrega no intencionada de insulina en exceso y por debajo de lo normal cuando la bomba está elevada o bajada en relación con el sitio de infusión, respectivamente, debido a cambios en la fuerza gravitacional que impactan las presiones hidrostáticas y hidrodinámicas. La entrega excesiva de insulina, que puede ocurrir cuando la bomba está elevada en relación con el sitio de infusión, puede resultar en hipoglucemia severa, alteración del estado mental, convulsiones, coma o muerte. Una entrega insuficiente de insulina, que puede ocurrir en condiciones de altura de bomba baja en relación con el sitio de infusión, puede resultar en hiperglucemia severa, deshidratación, cetoacidosis diabética o muerte.

  4. 4Si ya lo usaste y te sientes mal, ve a tu médico inmediatamente.
